(KUNA) – The Ministry of Interior, represented by the General Directorate for Combating Narcotics, announced on Sunday the arrest of nine suspects in five separate cases, during which narcotics and psychoactive substances were found in their possession with intent to traffic and consume.
In a statement, the Ministry said the seized items included shabu, hashish, heroin, psychoactive pills, Captagon, chemicals-soaked leaves, five sensitive scales, Lyrica capsules, a quantity of tobacco, and a sum of money from sales proceeds.
It added that the suspects and the seized items have been referred to the competent authorities to take the necessary legal actions against them.
