Eighth 'Labbaik' Hajj and Umrah Exhibition Launches with 50 Companies at Exhibition Grounds

(KUNA) – The eighth “Labbaik” Hajj and Umrah exhibition kicked off today, Sunday, under the patronage of Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Dr. Mohammed Al-Osaimi, with participation by more than 50 Hajj companies. The event runs for a week, from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., at the Mushrif Exhibition Grounds.
Following the opening, Deputy Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Engineer Sulaiman Al-Suwailim told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the exhibition meets all the needs of Kuwait’s pilgrims and showcases the services offered by the participating Hajj companies.
Al-Suwailim added that the exhibition allows Kuwaiti pilgrims to learn about participating companies in one location, facilitating access to information on prices and services and helping them fulfill their Hajj obligations.
He noted that the exhibition provides an opportunity to enhance pilgrims’ awareness and prepare them for the pilgrimage by reviewing relevant organizational and advisory aspects of the Hajj season, thereby improving readiness and compliance with approved guidelines and procedures, and easing their journey from departure to return to the country.
He emphasized the Hajj and Umrah Department’s commitment to being present at the exhibition to answer pilgrims’ inquiries and provide them with religious, administrative, and advisory publications.
