Foreign Minister Discusses Bilateral Relations and Regional and International Developments with Counterparts from Djibouti and Tunisia

(KUNA) – Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jeraah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah met on Saturday with Abdulkader Omar, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Official Spokesperson of the Government of the sister Republic of Djibouti, at the Permanent Mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations in New York. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

According to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting reviewed bilateral relations between the two sister countries and ways to enhance and develop them in various fields, as well as discussed the latest developments on the regional and international scenes.

Also on Saturday, Foreign Minister Sheikh Jeraah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah met with Mohamed Ali Nefati, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad of the sister Republic of Tunisia, at the Permanent Mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations in New York. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a press release that the meeting reviewed bilateral relations between the two sister countries and ways to enhance and develop them in various fields, in addition to discussing the latest developments on the regional and international scenes.

On Saturday, Foreign Minister Sheikh Jeraah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah received Carl Skau, Acting Executive Director of the World Food Programme, at the Permanent Mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations in New York. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a press release that the meeting reviewed the close relationship between the State of Kuwait and the World Food Programme, as well as joint efforts in the humanitarian field and ways to enhance cooperation and coordination to support effective responses to crises and humanitarian challenges at both the regional and international levels.
