Chinese Vice President Han Zheng affirmed that his country supports the security of Middle Eastern and Gulf states and backs United Nations efforts aimed at reform and development, emphasizing that strengthening cooperation and coordination is the correct approach to addressing current challenges.

He stressed the need to maintain the continuity of supply chains and ensure unimpeded freedom of maritime navigation, free from obstacles or fees.

He stated that preserving the multilateral trading system is essential, noting that the world requires a genuine development plan and lasting peace grounded in security.
