Deputy of His Highness the Amir Discusses Bilateral Relations with the Prime Minister of Bangladesh in New York

(KUNA) — His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, received today, Friday, His Excellency Mr. Tariq Rahman, Prime Minister of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, and the accompanying delegation, on behalf of His Highness the Amir of the State, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may God protect and guard him. The meeting took place at the permanent mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations in New York, on the sidelines of the high-level week of the eighty-first session of the UN General Assembly.

During the meeting, the bilateral relations between the State of Kuwait and the friendly People’s Republic of Bangladesh were discussed, along with ways to develop them in the interest of both countries and their friendly peoples. The latest developments on the regional and international scenes were also discussed.

Present at the meeting were His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Meshal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority; His Excellency Ambassador Mansour Ayad Al-Otaibi; His Excellency Ambassador Tariq Al-Banna, Kuwait’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations; and Major General Ahmed Al-Duai, Director of the Crown Prince’s Office.
