Kuwait participates in the joint ministerial meeting between the GCC and India in New York

(KUNA) – Assistant Foreign Minister for Gulf Cooperation Council Affairs, Ambassador Hamad Al-Mari, participated today, Friday, in the joint ministerial meeting between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the Republic of India, held on the sidelines of the high-level week of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

The meeting discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation and follow up on the items of the joint action plan between the two sides, as well as continue preparations for holding the first round of free trade agreement negotiations between the GCC and India. The two sides also discussed regional and international developments and issues, exchanging views on them.
