Iraq's Najaf Airport suspends all flights to and from Iran - Sarmad

Iraq’s official news agency reported that Najaf International Airport has suspended all flights to and from Iran, effective Friday.

Earlier, two sources told Reuters that Iraq was considering rerouting Iranian flights from Baghdad to Najaf, after issuing a directive to the Civil Aviation Authority to suspend Iranian flights destined for Baghdad Airport starting Wednesday, following a U.S. threat to impose sanctions on any airport that provides services to Iranian airlines.
