Traffic: Four suspects detained and five vehicles impounded for reckless driving in Al Wafra

The General Traffic Department, represented by the Security Supervision Directorate, apprehended four suspects who engaged in reckless and careless driving in the Al-Wafra Agricultural Area, endangering the safety of road users. This action followed intelligence reports of a gathering in the area intended for reckless driving and unlawful assembly.

The Ministry of Interior stated in a statement that, following search, investigation, and surveillance operations, it was determined that the suspects had concealed the vehicles used in these activities within several farms. In coordination with the Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Marine Resources, five vehicles were seized and the suspects were apprehended.

Necessary legal measures were taken against the suspects, who were referred to the Central Prison. The five vehicles were subsequently crushed after the completion of legal procedures, in accordance with Article 33 (Repeated) of the Traffic Law, for violations of reckless and negligent driving and endangering the safety of road users.

The General Traffic Department affirmed that anyone who endangers lives and property will face the prescribed legal measures without leniency, and that surveillance and monitoring efforts will continue to ensure the safety of road users.
