UAE rain four goals on Yemen in Gulf Cup 27 - Sarmad

The UAE national team secured a commanding 4-0 victory over Yemen in the opening match of their campaign in Group B of the Gulf Cup 27, held in Saudi Arabia.

The "White Falcons" ended the first half with a clean-sheet three-goal lead. Nicolás Giménez opened the scoring in the 26th minute, Nader Sahil scored an own goal in the 36th minute, and Luán Pereira added the third goal in the 45+4th minute.

In the second half, the UAE continued its scoring spree, with Nicolás Giménez netting his second goal of the match and the team's fourth in the 51st minute.

The UAE national team collected its first three points in the group ahead of the matches between Bahrain and Qatar, scheduled to kick off at 9:00 p.m. today.

Meanwhile, the Yemeni national team suffered a defeat in its opening match of Gulf Cup 27.
