Minister of Education Discusses Strengthening Cooperation with the Kuwaiti Writers' Association - Sarmad

Education Minister Sayed Jalal Al-Tabtabai met with a delegation from the board of directors of the Kuwaiti Writers Association to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in the interest of learners and to support efforts aimed at promoting reading and fostering interest in literature and culture.

In a press release, the Ministry of Education stated that Minister Al-Tabtabai received the association’s delegation, and the meeting focused on exploring the possibility of organizing joint programs and activities to enrich the educational environment, leveraging specialized expertise and experiences to develop and enhance the skills of teachers and learners, and supporting initiatives that promote knowledge and reading among students.

Attending the meeting were Deputy Minister of Education Dr. Khalid Al-Rashid, Assistant Deputy Minister for Educational Affairs Hamad Al-Hamad, Assistant Deputy Minister for Administrative, Financial, and Technical Affairs Muhammad Al-Khalidi, Director of the General Directorate of Technical Guidance, Research, and Curricula Muhammad Al-Otaibi, and Director of the General Directorate of Educational Regions Muhammad Al-Wazan.

Also present were Abdullah Al-Basais, Secretary-General of the Kuwaiti Writers Association; Jamila Sayed Ali, Secretary; Saad Al-Ahmad, Treasurer; Afrah Al-Handal, Head of the Cultural Committee; and Lujain Al-Nashwan, Head of the Social Committee.
