Al-Faleh Discusses Cooperation with South Korean Ambassador on Land Reclamation and Smart Agriculture

State Minister for Development and Sustainability, Dr. Reem Al-Faleh, met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the State of Kuwait, Jang Hyun Kim, to discuss avenues of cooperation between the two countries in the fields of sustainability and enhancing food security.

In a press release issued on Thursday, the Ministry of Development and Sustainability stated that Dr. Al-Faleh received Ambassador Kim at the headquarters of the Public Authority for Environment. During the meeting, the two sides also explored ways to cooperate in land reclamation and smart agriculture, as well as the potential to leverage Korean technologies and expertise in fish farming.

The ministry noted that the meeting comes within the framework of efforts to strengthen cooperation between Kuwait and the Republic of Korea and develop areas of shared interest, serving the interests of both friendly nations.
