Kuwait Stock Exchange Indices Diverge at the Start of Today's Trading - Sarmad

Kuwait Stock Exchange’s key indices opened mixed on Thursday, with seven sectors posting gains.
By 9:15 a.m. Kuwait time, the First Market index had fallen 0.14%, the General Market index dropped 0.11%, while the Main Market index rose 0.06% and the Main Market 50 index climbed 0.83%, compared with Wednesday’s closing levels.
At that time, the Kuwait Stock Exchange recorded liquidity of 9.23 million dinars, distributed across 36.55 million shares through 2,500 trades.
Trading saw gains in seven sectors, led by technology at 3.48%, while five sectors declined, headed by utilities down 0.73%. The healthcare sector remained unchanged.
Among individual stocks, 47 shares advanced, led by Al-Arabiya Real Estate up 5.23%, while 35 shares fell, topped by Tashilat down 3.04%. The prices of 22 shares remained stable.
Al-Bait share led trading volume with 10.73 million shares, while EFA topped liquidity with 1.22 million dinars.
