Representative of His Highness the Amir receives the Chief Operating Officer of the global investment firm Blackstone - Sarmad

(KUNA) – His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince, received today Mr. Jonathan Gray, President and Chief Operating Officer of the global investment firm Blackstone, and his accompanying delegation. The meeting took place at the Permanent Mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations in New York, on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

During the meeting, opportunities for joint investment cooperation between the State of Kuwait and Blackstone were discussed, along with global economic developments and investment opportunities. The discussions also focused on creating opportunities for investing in national human capital to enhance its capabilities, refine its skills, and leverage global expertise in investment fields.

Attending the meeting were H.E. Sheikh Dr. Mishal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority; H.E. Ambassador Mansour Ayyad Al-Otaibi; H.E. Ambassador Tariq Muhammad Al-Bunai, Permanent Representative of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations; and H.E. Major General Ahmed Abdulrahman Al-Dai, Director of the Crown Prince’s Office.
