Artistic performances at the opening ceremony of 'Gulf Cup 27' reflect the tournament's place in the memory of the region's peoples

(KUNA) – The opening ceremony of the 27th Arabian Gulf Cup (Khaleeji 27) football tournament, held on Wednesday, featured a variety of artistic and musical performances that reflected the tournament’s Gulf character and its place in the collective memory of the region’s peoples.

The ceremony included musical segments during which the eight participating national teams were introduced, alongside a display of the flags of the participating countries in a scene embodying the bonds uniting the peoples of the region under the umbrella of the Gulf Cup.

The event also featured visual and technical displays on the pitch, including laser shows, lighting effects, and fireworks, while the tournament’s official logo and trophy were presented as part of the show.

The ceremony concluded with a series of artistic and performance segments, marking the start of the tournament’s competitions, which bring together the national teams of Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, and Yemen.
