Prince's Representative Receives Lebanese Prime Minister in New York

(KUNA) – His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince, received today Dr. Nawaf Salam, Prime Minister of the sister Republic of Lebanon, and his accompanying delegation at the Permanent Mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations in New York. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

During the meeting, the fraternal bilateral relations between the State of Kuwait and the sister Republic of Lebanon were discussed, along with ways to develop them to serve the interests of both countries and their brotherly peoples. The latest regional and international developments were also discussed.

The meeting was attended by H.E. Sheikh Jeraf Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs; H.E. Sheikh Dr. Mishal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority; H.E. Ambassador Mansour Ayyad Al-Otaibi; H.E. Ambassador Tariq Muhammad Al-Bunai, Permanent Representative of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations; and H.E. Major General Ahmad Abdulrahman Al-Dai, Director of the Crown Prince’s Office.
