His Highness the Crown Prince discusses economic and investment matters with BlackRock

Representing His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad, the Amir of the State, His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid, the Crown Prince, received on Tuesday evening Larry Fink, Chief Executive Officer of BlackRock, and his accompanying delegation. The meeting took place at the Permanent Mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations in New York, on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed and discussed economic and investment matters of mutual interest, examined the latest global developments in investment and financial markets, and explored ways to enhance cooperation between the two parties. They also underscored the importance of developing human capital and investing in national competencies through the exchange and transfer of expertise, thereby strengthening the competitiveness of the national economy and supporting the achievement of sustainable development goals.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Jeraah Jaber Al-Ahmad, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Sheikh Dr. Meshal Jaber Al-Ahmad, Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority; Ambassador Mansour Ayyad Al-Otaibi; Sheikha Al-Zain Sabah Al-Nasser, Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the United States of America; Ambassador Tariq Muhammad Al-Bunai, Permanent Representative of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations; and Brigadier General Ahmed Abdulrahman Al-Dai, Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince.
