Trump: Ready to meet Iranian President in New York this week - Sarmad

US President Donald Trump told Fox News on Monday that he is in the process of deciding on the next steps in the war with Iran, and expressed openness to meeting Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian in New York on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly.

Trump added, “The question is: Will I destroy the entire country, and when? It would be better for them to behave themselves,” as he weighs options that include military action, continued economic pressure, or a new attempt to reach an agreement.

Trump confirmed his openness to meeting the Iranian president this week, but there is currently no meeting scheduled on their agendas.
