Syria: Israeli incursion into Quneitra and shelling of areas in western Daraa countryside

Syrian News reported on Monday that Israeli forces infiltrated the intersection of Rasim al-Halabi village in the central Qunaytra countryside, noting that the forces set up a temporary checkpoint with a force of 10 military vehicles.

Earlier on Monday, Israeli forces shelled the Abidin and al-Raqad valleys in the Yarmouk basin in the western Daraa countryside, while also targeting the outskirts of the town of Jamla.

Israeli forces also dropped flares over the Abidin valley.

Last week, an Israeli military force infiltrated the town of Jabata al-Khashab in the Qunaytra countryside in northern Syria early Wednesday morning, detaining two young men during raids on several homes before withdrawing from the area, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).
