Interior Ministry: Two suspects arrested for trafficking and manufacturing banned performance-enhancing drugs and unlicensed supplements

The Criminal Security Sector, represented by the Investigations Department of Al-Jahra Governorate, arrested two individuals, one Syrian and one Indian, on charges of promoting, selling, and manufacturing sexual stimulants and unlicensed cosmetics and dietary supplements.

The Ministry of Interior stated that the arrests followed investigations revealing that the first suspect was promoting these products via social media platforms, selling them, and delivering them to customers without a license. He was apprehended in the Mutla residential area, where authorities seized a number of products and 82 Kuwaiti dinars from the proceeds of sales. The suspect confessed to obtaining the items from the second suspect.

Further investigations led to the arrest of the second suspect in the Farwaniya area. It was found that he was manufacturing and preparing certain stimulants and dietary supplements at his residence by mixing and grinding various tablets and materials, then repackaging them for sale and promotion. Authorities discovered 151 cartons of various stimulants and products, along with 226 Kuwaiti dinars from the proceeds of sales.

All necessary legal measures were taken against the offenders, and they were referred to the competent authorities.
