Civil Aviation Authority Head Discusses Enhancing Civil Aviation Cooperation with Kazakhstan's Ambassador

(KUNA) – The head of the Civil Aviation Authority, Sheikh Engineer Hamoud Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, met on Sunday with the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Kuwait, Yerzhan Ilyikeev, to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in the field of civil aviation.

In a statement to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the Authority said the meeting reviewed opportunities to develop bilateral relations in areas of air transport, operational services, and the exchange of technical expertise, as well as discussed prospects for future cooperation aimed at supporting travel flows and air connectivity, and strengthening coordination on issues of mutual interest.

The statement added that the meeting addressed key topics scheduled for discussion at the extraordinary session of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Assembly of States, which will be held at the organization’s headquarters in Canada next November.
