Ministerial Decision Authorizing 'Industry Authority' to Terminate Contracts and Revoke Service, Craft, and Commercial Permits - Sarmad

The Official Gazette, “Kuwait Today,” published the Ministry of Commerce and Industry’s Decision No. 23 of 2026, delegating the Board of Directors of the Public Authority for Industry to impose the administrative penalty consisting of terminating contracts and withdrawing service, craft, and commercial licenses supervised by the Public Authority for Industry.

Article One of the decision stipulates: “The Board of Directors of the Public Authority for Industry is delegated to impose the administrative penalty consisting of terminating contracts and withdrawing service, craft, and commercial licenses supervised by the Public Authority for Industry, in the circumstances prescribed by law for imposing such penalty, and in accordance with the rules and regulations governing it.”

Article Two of the decision states: “This decision shall take effect from the date of its issuance and be published in the Official Gazette, and all competent authorities shall take action to implement it.”
