Cleaning Abu Halifa Beach: A Community Initiative Reinforcing the Spirit of Volunteering and Environmental Responsibility - Sarmad

(KUNA) — Under the patronage and participation of Al-Ahmad Governor Sheikh Hamoud Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Governorate launched a beach cleanup campaign at Abu Halifa Beach in cooperation and coordination with the “Kafu” project and the Abu Halifa Cooperative Society. This community initiative embodies the spirit of generosity and collaborative effort, reflecting the participating entities’ commitment to enhancing environmental awareness and preserving public facilities.

Coinciding with World Cleanup Day, this initiative helps instill a culture of volunteering and social responsibility by transforming fieldwork into an awareness message that underscores the shared responsibility of environmental protection.
