General Traffic Department: Suspects arrested for endangering road users' lives - Sarmad

The General Traffic Department, represented by the Security Supervision Directorate, apprehended two suspects after monitoring video footage documenting their reckless and negligent driving, which endangered their own lives, the lives of other road users, and their property.

According to a statement by the Directorate, the suspects were apprehended following the necessary investigations and the identification of their identities. Legal proceedings were initiated against them, and they were referred to the Central Prison. Additionally, the vehicles used in the incidents were crushed in accordance with the prescribed legal procedures.

The General Traffic Department warned that endangering lives and property will be met with strict enforcement of the law without leniency. It emphasized that its efforts to monitor and apprehend individuals engaged in reckless and negligent driving, and to hold them accountable, will continue to ensure the safety of road users.
