Pakistani Army: We will go to "any extent" to defend Saudi Arabia - Sarmad

The Pakistani military spokesperson told Arab News that his country would go to any extent to defend Saudi Arabia against any attack.
This pledge came following a wave of missile and drone attacks launched by the Iran-aligned Houthi group in Yemen on Saudi cities.
Debris from an intercepted drone that fell in Taif on Thursday killed one person and injured two others. More than 80 people have been injured in recent attacks.
Major General Ahmed Shafiq Chaudhry, Director General of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the military’s media wing, told Arab News, “Pakistan stands fully with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, diplomatically and on the ground.” He added, “I want to emphasize the phrase ‘on the ground’ here… we will go to any extent.”
Chaudhry clarified that Pakistan’s commitment includes protecting the two holiest sites in Islam, in Makkah and Madinah.
