Brigadier General Al-Manifi: Enhancing coordination between operations rooms and field forces to maintain security for all

Lieutenant General Hamad Al-Manifi, Deputy Minister of Interior for General Security Affairs, emphasized the importance of continuing efforts, enhancing readiness levels, and strengthening coordination between operations rooms and field forces to help maintain the security and safety of all.

This was stated in a press release issued by the Ministry of Interior on Friday, during Lieutenant General Al-Manifi’s inspection of the operations rooms of the Security Directorates, Civil Defense, and the Emergency Police (Najda).

At the Security Directorates sector, where he was received by Sector Head Colonel Abdulaziz Al-Omar, Lieutenant General Al-Manifi reviewed the sector’s duties and procedures and listened to a detailed presentation outlining operational mechanisms and the role of the operations room in monitoring field activities and coordinating among the security directorates.

He also reviewed the security measures implemented in conjunction with the return to schools to enhance student safety and secure the surroundings of schools and the roads leading to them.

Lieutenant General Al-Manifi also inspected the operations room of the General Directorate of Civil Defense, where he was received by Director General Colonel Mansour Al-Hishash. He reviewed the progress of operations and readiness levels, met with security leadership, and listened to a briefing on coordination mechanisms, handling various reports and emergency situations, and the speed of response.

The inspection also included the operations room of the General Directorate of Emergency Police (Najda), where he was received by Director General Colonel (Legal) Hamlan Al-Hamalan. He reviewed the process for receiving and forwarding reports and met with security leadership to monitor readiness levels and the speed of field response.

The Ministry of Interior stated in its release that Lieutenant General Al-Manifi commended the efforts made to maintain security and the swift handling of reports.
