Saudi Arabia Launches "Direct Umrah" Service - Sarmad

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has launched the “Direct Umrah” service, enabling the booking of diverse Umrah packages through a unified digital pathway that connects pilgrims with flight options and booking procedures via trusted global travel platforms and packages offered by ministry-accredited service providers.

In a statement received by KUNA on Thursday, the ministry explained that the service allows pilgrims from within and outside the Kingdom to book Umrah packages through accredited global travel platforms such as Share Trip, Wakanow, Bookme, and Wego, as well as the “Airport” platform, enabling them to view Umrah and visit packages and track booking procedures online.

The ministry added that the service offers several package categories, including packages without an Umrah visa and comprehensive packages that include the Umrah visa, air travel, accommodation in Makkah and Madinah, meals, intercity transportation, and guidance, depending on the details of each package.

It clarified that those wishing to perform Umrah can visit the accredited global travel platforms, browse the available “Direct Umrah” packages, and review the services, costs, and conditions associated with each option before completing the booking process online through simple and clear steps.
