Kuwait condemns and denounces Houthi militia's drone attack on Taif Governorate

(KUNA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Kuwait’s condemnation and strong denunciation of the Houthi militia’s targeting of the Taif Governorate in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with a drone. The interception of the drone resulted in the scattering of debris, causing one fatality, two injuries, and material damage. The ministry affirmed that these attacks constitute a blatant violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and a breach of international law and international humanitarian law.

In a statement issued on Thursday, the ministry reaffirmed Kuwait’s full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its standing alongside the Kingdom, and its support for all measures taken to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and stability, and to protect its citizens and residents.

The ministry extended its sincere condolences and deepest sympathy to the family of the deceased and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
