Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs: Kuwait keen to continue supporting peoples affected by disasters and wars

Kuwait’s Minister of Social Affairs, Labour and Social Affairs, Dr. Amthal Al-Huwail, held talks on Thursday with Ukraine’s Ambassador to Kuwait, Dr. Maksym Subch, to explore ways to enhance joint cooperation and exchange expertise and experiences in the fields of social affairs and child protection.

In a press statement, Al-Huwail emphasized Kuwait’s commitment to continuing its humanitarian role in supporting and protecting peoples affected by disasters and wars, in line with Kuwait’s steadfast approach to humanitarian action.

The statement noted that the meeting addressed several files of mutual interest, foremost among them social affairs and child protection. It added that both sides discussed a number of proposals to be studied and examined for areas of cooperation that would positively benefit both countries, as well as the possibility of coordinating cooperation in the field of social affairs.
