The Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET) confirmed that the maritime sector is among the important fields requiring highly qualified national cadres with advanced technical and specialized expertise, capable of supporting the development process and serving the State of Kuwait.
This statement was made by Mihnaz Qubazard, Director of the Higher Institute of Communications and Navigation at PAAET, on the sidelines of the institute’s administration of an aptitude test for applicants seeking to join the Maritime Pilotage Program, on behalf of the Kuwait Ports Authority, as part of joint cooperation in preparing and training specialized national cadres for the maritime sector.
Qubazard stated that the test aims to assess applicants’ capabilities and their suitability for enrollment in the program, paving the way for their preparation and training according to the professional and specialized requirements necessary for work in the field of maritime pilotage.
She emphasized that the implementation of the program reflects PAAET’s, represented by the Higher Institute of Communications and Navigation, commitment to strengthening its partnerships with labor market entities, aligning training programs with the actual needs of vital sectors in Kuwait, developing specialized programs, and providing a specialized training environment that contributes to preparing national cadres capable of supporting the development process and serving the country.
