Syria: Three Internal Security Forces personnel killed, others injured

Three members of the Internal Security Forces were killed and others were injured on Thursday while carrying out a security operation to arrest a wanted individual in the city of Sanameen in the countryside of Daraa.

In a statement, the Internal Security Forces said that an armed, outlaw group led by the wanted individual targeted the patrol and engaged its members during the operation.

The statement added that the Internal Security Forces are continuing their deployment in Sanameen and pursuing the group’s members and those involved in the attack, while the Internal Security Command in the province has imposed a temporary curfew in the city until the security situation stabilizes.

The Internal Security Forces affirmed that they are committed to pursuing all those involved in the attack and taking legal action against them.
