Kuwait Stock Exchange indicators diverge at the start of today's trading - Sarmad

Key indicators of the Kuwait Stock Exchange showed mixed movements at the start of trading on Sunday, coinciding with gains in eight sectors.
By 9:15 a.m. Kuwait time, the “First Market” and “General” indices fell by 0.14% and 0.07%, respectively, while the “Main 50” index rose by 0.20% and the “Main” index increased by 0.27% compared to Thursday’s levels.
The Kuwait Stock Exchange recorded trading activity valued at 17.44 million Kuwaiti dinars, involving 64.34 million shares across 4,180 transactions.
The session saw eight sectors rise, led by the technology sector with a 2.06% gain, while four other sectors declined, headed by banking with a 0.38% drop, and the Manafea sector remained flat.
Among the 52 rising stocks, “Oula Takaful” topped the green list with a 7.28% increase, while “Cinema” led the declines among the 39 falling stocks with a drop of approximately 3.69%, and the prices of 22 stocks remained unchanged.
“GFH” led in trading volume with 11.37 million shares, while “Tanzif” topped liquidity with a value of 2.62 million Kuwaiti dinars.
