Al-Milhim: Kuwait University Continues Its Journey Toward Achieving Its Strategic Goals - Sarmad

Dr. Dina Al-Milhim, President of Kuwait University, confirmed today that the university continues its journey toward achieving its strategic objectives and enhancing its academic and research standing, thereby contributing to the preparation of generations capable of serving the nation and keeping pace with future demands.
In a speech delivered today on the occasion of the launch of the new academic year, Al-Milhim stated that the university looks forward to a year brimming with contributions and achievements, marking a new milestone toward greater excellence and leadership, and expanding the horizons of knowledge and innovation in line with the aspirations of the State of Kuwait and its youth.
She expressed Kuwait University’s pride in the high-level patronage it receives from His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, alongside the continuous support of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Nader Al-Jalal. She emphasized that this patronage reflects a firm belief in the importance of science and the university’s role in the nation’s development and progress.
She clarified that the university is advancing toward its strategic objectives, grounded in the pillars of quality, innovation, distinguished presence, and sustainability. This is being pursued through the development of academic programs, the enhancement of scientific research and innovation, the establishment of effective partnerships, and the provision of an inspiring university environment that elevates the quality of education and keeps pace with changes and labor market needs.
Al-Milhim noted that as Kuwait University celebrates its 60th anniversary this year, its progress relies on the integrated efforts of faculty members, academic support staff, administrative personnel, and students, working with a spirit of teamwork. This collective effort strengthens the university’s capacity to fulfill its academic and national mission and to translate its strategic objectives into tangible achievements.
