Iraq's President Condemns Attack on Saudi Arabia: We Do Not Accept the Use of Our Territory to Attack Neighboring Countries - Sarmad

Iraqi President Nizar al-Amidi strongly condemned on Saturday the attacks targeting Saudi Arabia, affirming that Iraq does not accept the use of its territory or airspace as a launching pad for aggression against neighboring countries. This statement came in the wake of strikes on the East-West oil pipeline in the Riyadh and Medina regions by several drones originating from Iraq.

In a statement issued by the Iraqi Presidency, al-Amidi said that safeguarding Iraq’s sovereignty and maintaining its relations with its regional neighborhood are responsibilities of the state and its constitutional institutions.

The Iraqi president reaffirmed his support for the measures taken by the government in the aftermath of these attacks, emphasizing the need to continue investigations and take all legal actions against anyone proven to be involved or responsible, ensuring that such aggressions are not repeated.
