Interior Ministry: Five arrested for using an agricultural plot for illegal activities in Kabd - Sarmad

The Ministry of Interior, represented by the Criminal Security Sector (General Administration of Criminal Investigations), announced the arrest of five suspects who exploited an agricultural plot in the “Kabd” area for purposes other than those designated, using it to manufacture and store food and consumer goods illegally.

According to a ministry statement, the raid, conducted in coordination with relevant authorities, resulted in the seizure of machinery and equipment for manufacturing scented and plain paper towels, paper cups, and labels, as well as food and consumer products and packaging materials.

The seized items were destroyed in coordination with the competent authorities, and the suspects were referred to the relevant jurisdiction to take the necessary legal action against them. Any possession proven to have been exploited for purposes other than those designated will be confiscated.
