Interior Ministry: 85 individuals apprehended and 61 traffic violations issued during a security operation in Saad Al-Abdullah - Sarmad

The Ministry of Interior stated that the Directorates of Security Affairs sector, represented by the Al-Jahra Governorate Security Directorate, carried out an extensive security campaign to apprehend violators and enhance security presence in the Saad Al-Abdullah area, as part of ongoing security efforts to enforce the law and maintain public order and safety.
In a statement on the X platform on Friday, the ministry said the campaign resulted in issuing 61 traffic violations, detaining 43 individuals without valid identification, arresting 20 wanted persons under arrest warrants, detaining 12 individuals whose residency permits had expired, detaining 5 street vendors, confiscating 3 mobile vending and grocery carts, detaining 2 individuals involved in alcohol-related cases, detaining 2 vehicles subject to judicial seizure, detaining 1 individual in possession of narcotics, detaining 1 debtor, and detaining 1 wanted person in connection with a criminal case. It noted that the total outcome of the security deployment and apprehensions amounted to 151.
It clarified that the necessary legal and administrative measures were taken against those detained and violators, in accordance with each authority’s jurisdiction.
