Trump: I regret not the war with Iran.. If time were to return, I would repeat what I did - Sarmad

U.S. President Donald Trump said he has no regrets about launching a war against Iran, despite the potential impact of this conflict on the midterm elections scheduled in the United States next November.
In an interview with Laura Ingraham, a Fox News host, Trump responded to a question about whether he felt regret over the war due to its potential effect on the elections, saying, “I don’t believe in the word regret, but you can always hold yourself slightly accountable.”
He added, “If I had to do it all over again, I would do exactly what I did.”
Trump dismissed hints that some of his supporters are upset and frustrated by the war.
He continued, “I don’t think they’re frustrated; I think they’re extremely proud that I’m not allowing Iran to possess a nuclear weapon.”
The U.S. president again expressed his belief that the war would end immediately after the midterm elections.
He stated in the interview, “The war will end right after the elections.”
