Capital Governor: Completing school preparations is a priority for a successful start to the academic year - Sarmad

(KUNA) — The Governor of the Capital and Acting Governor of Hawalli, Sheikh Abdullah Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah, affirmed today on Wednesday that completing preparations and arrangements in schools is a priority to ensure a successful and stable launch of the new academic year.

Sheikh Abdullah Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah stated in a press comment on the sidelines of an inspection tour of several schools in the Capital and Hawalli governorates that the tour is part of field follow-up to assess the readiness of educational institutions and to review the status of completing requirements and services before the start of classes.

He added that the tour included assessing the readiness of facilities, services, and school equipment, and identifying any observations or needs requiring treatment to contribute to providing a safe, healthy, and stimulating educational environment for students and the teaching and administrative staff.

He emphasized that the governorate will continue to support and monitor all initiatives that enhance the educational process and related services, in cooperation and coordination with the Ministry of Education and relevant government entities.

Sheikh Abdullah Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah praised the efforts of the leadership and officials at the Ministry of Education and all workers in the educational field in preparing for the academic year and creating a suitable educational environment.

He stressed the importance of integrating efforts among concerned parties, completing supporting technical services and equipment, and addressing any observations immediately to ensure a stable start from the first day of classes.

He expressed his congratulations to students on the occasion of the start of the new academic year, wishing them a year full of success and excellence, and affirmed that students are the core of the educational process and a fundamental pillar in building the nation’s future.

Attending the tour were the Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Affairs, Engineer Hamad Al-Hamad, the Director General of Educational Areas, Mohammed Al-Wazan, and a number of officials, teachers, and female teachers at the Ministry of Education.
