Death Toll from Syrian Idlib Weapons Warehouse Explosion Rises to 14 - Sarmad

Syria’s Al-Akhbariya channel quoted the Idlib Directorate of Health as saying that at least 14 people were killed and 11 others injured on Wednesday in an explosion at a temporary warehouse designated for collecting weapons and war remnants near the city of Sarmada in the province.

The Media and Communications Department of the Ministry of Defense told SANA that the explosion occurred at a temporary warehouse used for collecting weapons and war remnants before their transfer, resulting in injuries to several ministry employees.

It added that ministry units are working in coordination with the relevant authorities to secure the site of the incident.
