The attacks resulted in injuries to several citizens and residents, with varying degrees of severity. The injured are receiving necessary medical care, according to a statement from the ministry published on the X platform.

Field teams have begun containing the fires, securing the damaged sites, and assessing the extent of the damage.

The targeting of Saudi energy facilities comes amid escalating military confrontations in the region and a widening scope of threats to critical infrastructure and oil and fuel supply routes.

The war with Iran has disrupted navigation through the Strait of Hormuz and reduced Gulf energy exports, coinciding with increased drone and missile attacks in several countries in the region.

The source confirmed that competent authorities are continuing to manage the aftermath of the attacks and taking necessary measures to ensure the safety of facilities and personnel, as well as the continuity of operations in accordance with approved operational plans.
