«Fire Department»: Closure and warning of 74 non-compliant facilities in Shuwaikh Industrial - Sarmad

(KUNA) – The General Fire Force carried out an inspection campaign today, Monday, in the Shuwaikh Industrial Area of the Capital Governorate, resulting in the administrative closure of facilities and the issuance of notices and warnings against 74 establishments that violated fire safety and prevention regulations.

The Fire Force stated in a press release that the campaign was conducted in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and the Public Authority for Environmental Affairs, with the aim of identifying non-compliant buildings and establishments.

It clarified that the measures taken against the establishments were due to their failure to meet the requirements set by the General Fire Force, as well as the requirements of the participating government authorities.
