Israel warns its citizens: Leave Jordan, Egypt, and Qatar immediately - Sarmad

The Israeli National Security Council issued an updated travel advisory for its citizens ahead of the Jewish holiday season, urging them to avoid staying in or visiting a number of Arab and Muslim countries.

The Council placed Jordan, Qatar, and Egypt, including the Sinai Peninsula, alongside Somalia, at Level 4, the highest alert level, advising Israelis not to travel to these destinations and to leave immediately if they are already there.

The advisory also covered Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Libya, and Algeria, recommending against travel to these countries. The Council pointed to ongoing potential risks in countries surrounding Iran, including Turkey, Azerbaijan, and the United Arab Emirates, due to concerns about activities by entities it said are linked to Tehran or its allies.

The National Security Council clarified that the assessment comes amid regional tensions and what it described as continuing threats targeting Israelis and Jews abroad, urging travelers to follow travel instructions and adhere to security agency assessments.
