Kuwait condemns and denounces statements by two ministers in the occupation government regarding the displacement of Palestinians from Gaza - Sarmad

(KUNA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Kuwait’s condemnation and denunciation of statements issued by two ministers in the Israeli occupation government regarding the displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, citing this as a blatant violation of the inalienable rights of the fraternal Palestinian people and a flagrant breach of international law and international humanitarian law.

In a statement issued today, Sunday, the Foreign Ministry reiterated Kuwait’s firm rejection of any attempts to displace the fraternal Palestinian people and called on the international community and the Security Council to uphold their responsibilities in countering any efforts to impose a new demographic or geographical reality in the occupied Palestinian territories.

It stressed that such proposals undermine international efforts aimed at achieving peace, foremost among them the comprehensive plan by U.S. President Donald Trump to end the conflict in Gaza, which included a firm rejection of forced displacement. It warned of the serious repercussions of such moves on the prospects for achieving security and stability in the region.

The ministry also affirmed that the Gaza Strip is an inseparable part of the occupied Palestinian territories, emphasizing the necessity of preserving the unity of the Palestinian land in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem.

It further reiterated Kuwait’s steadfast and supportive stance toward the Palestinian cause and the fraternal Palestinian people’s right to establish their independent state with its capital in East Jerusalem, within the June 4, 1967 borders.
