The Criminal Security Sector, represented by the General Administration for Combating Narcotics (Local Combating Department), arrested a Kuwaiti national on charges of possessing various quantities of narcotics and psychoactive substances, a firearm, and ammunition with intent to traffic.
The arrest followed necessary investigations that confirmed the suspect’s possession of the seized materials for trafficking purposes. He was apprehended inside one of the stables rented to him in the Farwaniyah Stables area. The search operations also extended to another location in the Abdullah Al-Mubarak area.
The searches yielded the following items: approximately 300 grams of cocaine, approximately 250 grams of hashish, approximately 3,500 capsules of Larica (a psychoactive substance), approximately 1,000 sheets soaked with the synthetic cannabinoid “Chemical,” approximately 50 grams of methamphetamine, one pistol-type firearm with ammunition, and four sensitive scales.
The suspect and the seized items were referred to the competent authorities to take legal action against him.
It was also revealed that the stable was rented to the suspect in violation of its designated purpose. The owner of the property is being summoned, and the relevant authority is being contacted to initiate procedures for the seizure of the stable. Any property found to be exploited for purposes other than its designated use will be seized, and appropriate legal measures will be taken against the violators.
