Kuwait defeats Al-Jahra 1-0 in the third round of the Zain League - Sarmad

(KUNA) – Al-Kuwait Club’s team defeated Al-Jahra by a solitary goal on Saturday in the third round of the Zain Premier League football tournament.

At the Ali Al-Salim Al-Sabah Stadium, Al-Kuwait secured an important victory over Al-Jahra, who tried to keep pace with the title holders and sought an equalizer, but Al-Kuwait claimed all three points.

Al-Kuwait’s only goal was scored by Mehdi Ben Rahma with a header in the 30th minute, following a cross from his teammate Amr Abdel Fattah.

With this win, Al-Kuwait moved to seven points and topped the table, while Al-Jahra remained on three points in eighth place.
