Ministry of Education: “Baligh” program responds to over 8,000 reports, representing 65% of total reports - Sarmad

The Ministry of Education announced on Saturday that the “Balagh” program in schools had received approximately 8,602 reports as of that day, representing 65 percent of the total reports received by the program, which aims to identify any observations or needs and address them urgently before the start of the new academic year.

Deputy Undersecretary for Educational Affairs at the ministry, Hamad Al-Hamad, emphasized in a statement the necessity of treating observations and needs with urgency during this phase, and enhancing integration and coordination with maintenance and services departments and relevant authorities in various educational districts. This supports rapid response to field needs and ensures the completion of remaining works according to the actual priorities of each school before students are welcomed.

According to the statement, the program contributed to linking schools, educational districts, preparedness teams, and relevant sectors within a unified electronic system. This system begins with recording an observation or need at the school level, referring it directly to the competent authority, following up on the measures taken, completing the required works, and closing the report.

The ministry noted that preparedness teams and relevant authorities monitored, through the program during the summer break, more than 13,000 reports related to civil and electrical maintenance works, air conditioning units, water coolers, and school cleanliness, in addition to the supply of textbooks, school and office furniture, and other readiness requirements.

It was reported that 8,602 reports had been completed and resolved, accounting for 65.2 percent of the total incoming reports. Work is ongoing on approximately 20.5 percent of the reports, while 14.3 percent represent new reports being processed.

The ministry confirmed the continuation of intensive follow-up and the intensification of efforts by sectors, preparedness teams, and relevant authorities to complete pending reports and ongoing works. It stated that activating “Balagh” during this phase enhances the speed of identifying and addressing needs, and reinforces integration between the field and concerned sectors, thereby contributing to raising the level of readiness and completing necessary preparations for welcoming students with the launch of the 2026-2027 academic year.
