Al-Jaber: 'Doroub Arisha' program to be available on Kuwait Airways flights starting Monday - Sarmad

Sheikh Mubarak Fahad Al-Jaber, Director General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Common Production Program Organization, affirmed that Gulf media production is not complete merely by its creation, but by its reach to the audience. He pointed to the organization’s move to expand the dissemination of Gulf content and deliver it to audiences through diverse viewing platforms.
Sheikh Mubarak Al-Sabah stated that the organization will make its program “Doroub Arisha” available on entertainment screens aboard Kuwait Airways flights, starting the day after tomorrow, Monday, as part of the cooperation between the organization and Kuwait’s national carrier.
He emphasized that the presence of “Doroub Arisha” on Kuwait Airways flights represents a new step in the program’s journey, allowing passengers to enjoy distinctive Gulf content during their travels, thereby enhancing the presence of Gulf media production and broadening its reach to audiences within and beyond the region.
He noted that this step marks the beginning of a broader path for the organization, launching from its host country, Kuwait, to be followed by similar collaborations with Gulf government and private airlines. This will open new horizons for marketing and disseminating Gulf production, reaching wider segments of the audience.
Sheikh Mubarak Al-Sabah added that the organization is proceeding with its vision, which prioritizes content quality while assigning equal importance to its marketing and dissemination. Gulf media production is not complete by its creation alone, but by its ability to reach audiences and achieve presence and impact.
He indicated that the organization is working to diversify the platforms for showcasing its productions and expanding its partnerships with national, Gulf, and private sector institutions. This aligns with the rapid developments in the media industry and changing viewing habits, enhancing the competitiveness of Gulf content and its ability to reach new spaces.
He confirmed that the coming phase will witness more initiatives and partnerships aimed at expanding the presence of Gulf program production and reaching audiences wherever they are, reflecting the shared Gulf identity and highlighting the wealth of creative and media talents within the GCC member states.
