Russia: US must take ground realities into account in any settlement of the Ukraine conflict - Sarmad

Tass news agency quoted Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov on Saturday as saying that the U.S. administration must take into account the ground realities in any settlement of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, noting that the situation is not unfolding in Kyiv’s favor.
Commenting on a potential visit to Moscow by U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, son-in-law of U.S. President Donald Trump, Ryabkov told the agency, “The key question is whether the U.S. administration is prepared to make efforts to seek a genuine resolution to the current crisis, taking into account the realities on the ground.”
Trump said on Friday that the envoys are preparing to travel in an attempt to reach an agreement to end the war between the two countries.
