Iranian media: Explosions heard near Kharg Island in the Gulf - Sarmad

The semi-official Fars News Agency reported that explosions were heard on Saturday near Iran’s Kharg Island in the Gulf, a major oil terminal, though the source of the blasts remained unknown.
The state-affiliated Noor News Agency cited unconfirmed reports from local sources alleging that an Iranian oil tanker near Kharg had been targeted by a missile fired by U.S. forces.
A Fars News Agency correspondent on the scene said that explosion sounds were heard coming from the Gulf, but no smoke was visible.
Iranian authorities had not issued an official comment on these reports as of now.
