"Food Authority": 32 violation reports and 4 destruction reports issued in Hawalli - Sarmad

The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition, represented by the Inspection Department of Hawalli Governorate, conducted inspection rounds at several food establishments, resulting in the issuance of 32 violation reports, 4 destruction reports, and 2 undertakings. The seized quantities were destroyed, and legal action was taken against the violators, in order to ensure compliance with health regulations and safeguards and to protect consumer health.

Meanwhile, the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition, represented by the Inspection Department of Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate, carried out a joint security and supervisory campaign in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior. This operation led to the issuance of 9 violation reports covering the trade of adulterated food and violations of health requirements, licenses, and health certificates.

Additionally, adulterated food of unknown origin weighing a total of 12.299 kilograms was seized and destroyed.

The Authority reaffirmed its commitment to continuing its supervisory and inspection rounds to safeguard food safety and consumer health.
