Trump appoints Adam Til as Acting U.S. Secretary of the Army - Sarmad

US President Donald Trump announced the appointment of Adam Tyle as acting Secretary of the Army, effective immediately, following the resignation of Dan Driscoll from the post.
Trump stated in a post on the “Truth Social” platform: “I am pleased to announce that Adam Tyle, the current Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works, will assume the role of Acting Secretary of the Army, effective immediately,” describing him as a great patriot who is respected by all.
Tyle’s appointment comes in the wake of Driscoll’s resignation, which followed months of tension with Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth over military direction and the dismissal of several senior officers, according to US media reports.
